BROKER OF THE MONTH
When Marv went to present an offer, he learned that the REALTOR® also had an offer from one of her own clients.  The benefits of being a lawyer and negotiator immediately kicked in.  Marv had his client prepare five counters in various increments including one for over full price.  The client trusted Marv to use his discretion to star and finish as need be, and get the house!  Marv's lowest priced counter proved to be successful.  Thus began Marv's career-a successful purchase, a commission, and a bottle of Dom Perignon from Denny Lyon.

In 1996, arv andarn mved to Realty Executives.  The company had always seemed to fit Marv's entrepreneurial style.  We have a great respect for other companies, but Realty Executives was the right fit for us, states Marv.  We have been thrilled with our choice.  One just cannot find people who do not genuinely like and respect John Fotz, our broker.

John Foltz enjoys working with the Leffs greatly.  They are unique compared to many REALTORS® I've seen.  Their entire business is based on building trusting relationships.  Their approach to ther clients really sets them apart.  First, they are a lot of fun and a great couple to be-around.  They clearly care for each other.  Every client experiences that about them.  Secondly, they bring different strengths to the table, which adds up to that special synergy where one plus one equals three.

Th Lefswork primrily in th luxury hoe market, with the majority of their clients purchases and sales in the Biltmore, Paradise Valley, and North Scottsdale areas.  As North Scottsdale became developed, we naturally showed clients opportunities there-especially in DC Ranch, notes Marv.  But, these days there is a lot of excitement about urban opportunitiesas well.  The couple hired a licensed assistant, Michelle Coleman, last year.  They value her organizational and computer skills as well as her trustworthiness.  She works as an executive assistant and helps with Marv's duties as chairman of the Realty Executives Premiere Marketing Group, a position he has held for three years.
Premiere Marketing Group was established four years ago to enable Realty Executives agents working in luxury marketing to share ideas and experiences.  In 2005, PMG members (104 agents in 2005) did over one billion three hundred million in sales across 104 agents.  We are almost a real estate company within a real estate company, Marv explans.  When the market was so frenzied last year, adds Karen, the PMG website was a real benefit.  It notified members of new properties before they hit the market.  This gave a substantial advantage to our members.  On a contingnote, whenever someone needs an expert, a simple email to the Premier Marketing Group members will get you help.  It's been an unbelievable experience-really incredible.  In addition to the PMG meetings, and having Karen join the weekly Realty Executive tours, the Leffs are regulars at the Luxury Home Tour, where Marv served as a Member at Large on the Board of Directors.  Marv also conducts a
